Projects
When we founded the cooperative, we said we would not write projects for the sake of projects, chase public funding just because it exists, or bend ourselves to fit calls for proposals. Instead, we turned to working on the market, and we write project proposals rarely and only when a call fully matches our regular activities, plans and wishes.
SD AI Lab
Funding: Ministry of Economy, Open Public Call for the programme "Development of Cooperative Entrepreneurship" 2026. € 7,200.00 Duration: 07/2026 - 11/2026
The main activity of the project SD AI Lab is the procurement and commissioning of a local workstation suited for working with artificial intelligence. As a cooperative that uses and promotes open source, which also means a strong awareness of privacy rights, we see a business opportunity in creating custom, tailor-made AI solutions with a guarantee that the data the AI works with remains confidential. This is especially important for systems that handle personal data, internal documents and, in general, data that must not be shared with third parties, including online services that provide AI technology.
Puls grada
Funding: City of Zagreb, Public call for the allocation of de minimis aid for co-financing projects using open data 2025. € 13,404.30 Duration: 12/2025 - 08/2026
Street names are an indicator of the ties we nurture with space, history and politics. Streets are metaphorical arteries, and the pulse shows us the state of the organism. Puls grada processes data on street names and helps us better see what street names say about Zagreb.
Što s otpadom?
Funding: City of Zagreb, Public call for the allocation of de minimis aid for co-financing projects using open data 2024. € 7,416.99 Duration: 12/2024 - 07/2025 Partner: Zelena akcija Zagreb
While working on the project Što s otpadom? we compared the City of Zagreb's open data on the locations of green islands and recycling yards with data on reported problems in the "waste" category received by Zelena akcija's Green Phone. We also used demographic data available through the population census to explore correlations between the frequency of reported incidents and the availability of public infrastructure for waste collection and disposal.
